Brief abstract or additional comments (maximum 100 words)

The ALCURRA 1:100,000 scale geological map is located in the Eastern Musgrave Province in the north-western part of South Australia. It is one of the least understood and most underexplored Proterozoic terranes in Australia. The Province is considered highly prospective for Ni-Cu-PGE magmatic sulphide deposits and a wide range of other commodities.

This project is designed to reduce exploration risk by providing new geological mapping as well as supportive lithochemistry, geochronology, isotope geochemistry, petrographic and metamorphic analysis, regolith mapping and biogeochemistry, in order to generate a robust understanding of its geological history and mineral potential.
